COBALT’s mission is to create and perform original dance works. We give our dancers an education in the unique discipline and joyful artistry of making dance. Started as a non-profit in 2005 by Artistic Director and choreographer Shari Vegso in Mountville, PA, COBALT is an independent organization that has helped train many professional dancers and choreographers, and has provided valuable performing experience to many talented young pre-professional students. COBALT performances have thrilled audiences all over Lancaster County, PA and our alumni have gone on to perform in innumerable shows in this area and around the world. Our deeply skilled and talented alumni have also gone on to do beautiful and meaningful work in many other fields, including the sciences, academics, technology, healthcare, disability education, fashion, writing, singing and acting. COBALT alumni and sisters Willow Williams and Isabella Williams are rehearsal directors for COBALT Dance Company, and bring their knowledge, memories and eye for detail to every dancer in the company. COBALT rehearses in the studios of Susquehanna Dance Center, 120 College Ave. in Mountville, PA.
